Fucking Big Deal

Fucking big deal! I one more person tells me it is a fucking big deal to get a total knee replacement I am going to tell them to fuck off. Better yet, I'll punch them in the face. Same goes to all those people telling me to do my physio.

You're telling me it's a big deal. It hurt so much the first night they could not control the pain. Finally gave me morphine and I was really whacked out. Since then, it has improved but the fucking physio is really hard because the knee is really stiff, and it really hurts to bend it the way I'm supposed to do for physio. But you just gotta do your physio. Oh, fuck off.

A friend, who had a total knee replacement last year, just texted me: "You need to at least keep the bend you had when you left the hospital or scar tissue will seize your knee." Oh, fuck off.

My brother-in-law just told me that I needed to get on the stationary bike ASAP and ride it really often. Oh fuck off! I don't have stationary bike.

Also, everyone tells me how EVERYONE is doing it, getting a fucking total knee replacement. People I talk to have either had it or know someone who has had it. And nobody reports that, "It's a breeze." So, it's au courant, me and my fucking total knee replacement.

What's worse, is that my late husband keeps visiting me, making me wonder if I am on the brink of death.

PS: Now the refrigerator repair man just told me his friend had it done (surprise, surprise) and, "They screwed up. Had to wait six months to get another one and then his hip got screwed up because he was overcompensating." Oh, fuck off. But, thanks for fixing the fridge.
