Crazy nutcase psycho at work

OMG, we hired this new girl at work and she is utterly MADDENING to work with. She finally got FIRED today, and I wanted to celebrate, so did all of us, but we know it is going to turn into chaos and drama. When she was hired, only two weeks ago, she came in hot, and hasn't backed down since. She has been there two weeks. She still hadn't figured out the basics of the job, and tries to order us around and dictate our duties to us like she's a manager. Her customer service was atrocious, and she was always very snooty, condescending, and made low-key "mean girl" remarks to customers about everything. Her favorite being , "You really want that?" or "You sure you will eat that much?" or "There are lower calorie options" to heavy set customers! or "You want what on your sandwich? Why? It doesn't come that way for a reason."

When they'd order coffee a specific way, it was, "Why would you want that milk? It is going to ruin the taste." or "If you don't like it, we aren't remaking it."

She never greeted, until we told her she HAD to, then would do a half smile and say, "I have no idea why you all say I am not friendly. What do I do? I am very friendly, I am just making sure they know what to expect if they order something like that."

If we are on break, she will come to our table and ask, "Who said you could go on break?" if we are getting a cup of water to sip (we are allowed) it is ,"You can't just take free drinks, you should bring your own water." if someone is late, she acts as though it is her duty to reprimand them. If someone takes a day off, and she knows they are, she corners them and asks why they are taking that day off and then lectures them on, "Who authorized that?" and "Do you think that is a good work ethic?"

She harassed one of our diabetic employees for checking her blood on her little machiney thing, (which she is allowed to do in the office or breakroom per the managers) and harassed her SO bad she QUIT and we now are worried she is going to get a lawyer or call the labor board on us, and our GM is trying to reach out to her and smooth it over.

Anyway, this chick will walk away, and simply...disappear, then return when she feels like it. When questioned where she was, it is, "I figure you left for break earlier, so now it was my time to leave whenever I felt like it."

NO. We have ASSIGNED break times, and no one leaves whenever they feel like it unless they have permission from the manager on duty! We have caught her intentionally putting food and drink orders in wrong, in hopes that she gets the person at the food or drink/coffee station in trouble (she never has) but keeps trying. Then, she gaslights.

She has taken employees food out of the fridge (did this to our former diabetic employee almost causing her a blood sugar crash, and also tried to tell her she can't keep her insulin in there and take it out, but was caught and stopped by a manager) then , she threw a fit how "medication doesn't belong in the fridge, or even in the restaurant and neither does her needles. I am sure if I contacted OSHA they'd agree." She has also taken other people' food and said ,"It didn't look fresh and it takes on bad apple to spoil the bunch" and entirely tossed out people's food!

She also loves to talk about her former job at whatever town she used to live in, and how "we did things this way, not that way....so it doesn't seem right to do this way" when we are once again, trying to correct her on putting something together incorrectly when she has been on food/drink. So is now not allowed to do it at all, because she refused to remove nuts from a salad upon the customer's request, because they said they had a severe nut allergy! Luckily, they caught it before eating it!

All she said was, "Well, then they should have ordered something different. It won't taste good without the walnuts, and all that allergy stuff isn't legit anyway. People can't have nut allergies, that doesn't make sense." She said the same thing to our former diabetic employee about her condition, and why she doesn't really need insulin. Then, lectured her on how she "needs to try going without it for a week" and she will see, and telling her that she is "addicted like a drug addict is to heroin."

She also spent an entire afternoon telling one of our "witchy" staff members how, "If you get discriminated against or feel singled out you have to understand why. I am not saying it is okay, but that stuff scares people and is weird." when this employee never ONCE mentioned a thing about her occultic believes, she simply wears a Wiccan symbol, and the "new" girl went full throttle on her for it.

Our GM finally had it today, and it took threats of an arrest to make her leave the store! It should have been LONG before today, and her employment should have ended with harassing the diabetic girl at work, or when she nearly KILLED a customer with the walnuts!

Today though was the GM, who finally stepped in. He watched her stand there and BERATE and argue with a customer who simply requested that the pesto be remove from a sandwich, and roast beef added.

She would NOT do it, and kept telling the customer about, "Okay, that won't taste right and that isn't how that sandwich comes. If you want roast beef, get the roast beef or the French dip." three of us had to come over and go back and forth with her, right in front of the customer (who was very polite, patient, kind, and did not have some outrageous request!) they wanted the sandwich, only with two very simple mods. They didn't want the regular roast beef nor French dip.

It went on and on and on, with her arguing, being defiant, catty, snippy, and saying, "NO! That doesn't make sense, he can get the roast beef sandwich, the pesto mozz isn't made that way....so it doesn't make sense." and the she looks at him 'Why would you even want that? You're not going to like it..." we had to intervene, apologize, and finally nearly drag her away from the counter.

The GM happened to be there, and came out hearing what was happening and seeing the line build up.

He told her to go wait for him in the office. Her reply? "I don't see why I need to do that. I was just taking an order, and they all wanted to argue with me and make it harder then it had to be."

We ended up having to comp the customer's food because of that trainwreck, then apologize to the other people in line. In the midst of it, she is still arguing with our GM about in the background about, "I don't see why I need to go to the office. You haven't given me one good reason, and I am going to return to the counter and finish my shift." this continued, until he clocked her out, which she got loud about too. Finally, she did go to the office. She stormed out, and even though he told her to go home while he reviews her employment with us, she had the nerve to go BACK to the counter, CLOCK back in right in front us, and say "I don't agree at all with my write up or being sent home. I wasn't given a valid reason, and I am staying."

He had to, what was basically ORDER her out of the store and nearly threaten the police. He told her he wasn't going to suspend her, that instead she was terminated.

She did leave, but set out in her car...CALLING us and demanding to speak to him. When, we simply started hanging up and not answering she went home, peeling out of the parking, and within about twenty minutes, started calling again!

When I clocked out and left, she was still calling.....

I have a feeling it isn't the end of this psycho....
