Chemistry but no compatibility

So I’m giving you a second chance and you said you’d prove it to me that you were worth it. Honestly, I think it’s the third chance I’ve given you.

It’s been a month since we last met up. And that meet up was quick to show that you could prove me wrong. Of course, I let things escalate and that night too. Ever since that night, you’ve barely held a text conversation with me. You start off with how are you but once I ask you, silence. It never goes beyond that. Oh but when you want to tell me you had a sex dream about me, you’re ready for a long text session until you’ve finished giving me every detail.

I don’t think you really want me as a girlfriend. You did say you have commitment issues. So maybe you don’t want a girlfriend anyways. Even though you told me you’d prove me wrong, I’m really not seeing anything different.

I said we’d take it slow but isn’t this too slow? Do you not want to see me? Are you that busy to text me? I’m sure you text your friends so I guess you’re not interested enough in me to text me or call me or anything.

I feel like you like knowing that I still liked you enough to give you another chance. Now I’m in your back pocket for whenever you feel like it. And I’m dumb enough to entertain it. I hate that I’m holding out for you.

The worst part is I do want to see you again even though I feel like we’re not compatible. We have that physical attraction- the sexual chemistry - but I don’t think there’s much beyond that. I want commitment or even excitement. We’re supposed to be excited while dating but I think there’s too much between us in our past.

If you’re not willing to fully give dating me a shot, please let me know. Let’s have one more final night and then move on from each other.
