A cult vs a country club
I like clubs that are open about what you are getting into and are not too controlling. Many of the country clubs act too exclusive and secretive. They act like cults. They are member referral only.I finally found one that is just right for me. One life time membership fee + monthly dues. I was really attracted to the sports options available like wind surfing, rowing, badminton, basketball. I am good at rowing, basketball and badminton. It is not secretive or exclusive. You get what you pay for by the lake. The also teach sailing, skiing and golf. All facilities are available. Good. They are not too particular about women wearing collared shirts with the collar always visible and the shirt tucked in. Those rules on women mean the club something dug deep inside from the rear side.
