There is an online "community" that I look at in passing. Pretty much it's a closed off circle jerk of assholes, and if you aren't one of the elite insiders, you don't get any information for years. I've never been part of the inner circle, but plenty of drama has unfolded to where I've heard about what goes on.

Pretty much the people will go behind each others back and lie and fuck each other over.

These people are paranoid as fuck too. It's about old abandonware, which means software from dead companies. If they release something, they do so through aliases like there will really be a million lawyers going after someone for putting out some abandoned thing from 30 years ago.

At the moment they're raising money surrounding something that wasn't released. They're using a sockpuppet account and whoever the retard now writing the public messages has alluded that this is multiple people and not some lone "hero" like the story was like two weeks ago.

I won't give these fucks any money because they are not being honest. Fuck that. Be honest. Don't be a pussy, hiding behind fake accounts. If you were forthright, maybe then I would have. Instead you chose to lie and use the word "community" every other word in some attempt to manipulate people you've never interacted with into giving you their money. I won't, and the thing is, I was initially planning to. Not now. I don't deal with dishonest people. Go tell that to your little discord cult.
