California doesn’t really need aid though, if they were an independent country they’d have one of the largest economies in the world. They give more money than they receive from the federal government, so they’d technically be richer without the federal government.

California is the world's 4th largest economy. They should be using all that wealth to solve their state's one of the largest amount of homeless in the US problem. Gavin needs to stop playing on the socials and fix that.

He is in the wrong state to be president for a democrat. It definitely would help his nomination but to actually win its nothing on election day. The democrats would need somebody from a swing state or republican state ideally. However, if the candidate was particularly effective wouldn't matter. However, democrats don't have anyone. Its likely whoever trump nominates will win for the foreseeable future. Can't see democrats winning. Kamalas vp is a joke. And he might get nominated. If California broke away its economy would collapse because silicon valley, Hollywood bring in money because they live in America. Without that it collapses... so obviously completely different to places like texas or other less tech heavy states and less political with film industry. So California is chained to america. Otherwise everything would move to another state maybe nevada or maybe Texas, maybe even new york but it wouldnt stay. Some things would stay but the economy would basically collapse
