I finished 8 hours of continuous studying. I am still studying - I think I will do 10 hours today. I only took food and washroom breaks. I last did this when I was an undergrad.
I do not want to fail this exam.
I remember a classmate and friend of mine had said that I was crazy, but I was also extremely hardworking and smart.
I think that was very honest and accurate. I do not like being crazy or quirky. Anyway, moving on... washroom break and then continue studying. I am not perfect.

it’s a scientific fact that you can only focus and actually gain something from your studies for a certain amount of time, around 40-50 minutes on average. you seriously have to give yourself breaks. you may go on thinking ‘i’m okay! i’m okay!’ but after a while, you WILL break down. also, your result in an exam is not directly aligned with the time you take for studying - there are endless factors out there. and to be fair, expecting to be perfect is just downright stupidity. anonymous 1 week ago

Consider your motivation behind the feeling you need to push yourself hard. What do you gain by puahing yourself the the linit, and beyond? And what do you lose? Where is the joy? Because we only get one life and no one knows how long we each have on this earth. I'm not saying don't try hard to achieve your goals but that it isn't everything. And your physical and emotional wellbeing should always be paramount.
Also why do you need to study so hard? Is your approaxh effective? Could you be more efficient? I wasn't diagnosed as dyslexic until the final semester of my undergrad degree (i majored in English Lit). And i wasnt diagnosed with ADHD until I was nearly 40 years old (already had an MA and was married with 2 kids who are ASD and ADHD). I have to work so hard to achieve what I want as my brain works differently and now I understand that I seek support and I approach things differently. I wish I'd known earlier but at least i know now and I can support my kids with their learning.
