Paramore

I don't know how many people here will even know this band, and honestly that's a good thing. Paramore is a manufactured pop punk band that started in the mid 2000s. The lead singer was this average looking girl who dyed her hair, and played into the whole "not like the other girls" persona. This caused damn near everyone listening who was around her age (late teens, early 20s) to have a crush on her, because this topped with the lyrics that I'm sure were written by other people, gave the impression that she was this deep girl next door type. The record companies knew how to manipulate and manipulate they did.

Paramore had songs on the soundtracks to the Transformer and Twilight films. They had Hayley do features with random fucking (Airplanes with B.O.B.) because they only cared about her and making her famous. She was self-centered and vapid and didn't notice how the other people in this supposed band were being ignored. Some of the guys left and she was all 0_0 about it. There was always fucking drama among the band. The first song on their first fucking album from 2005 was about someone who left.

Pretty much the band has changed their sound, went from pop punk, to tropical, to whatever the hell it pretends to be now. They are directionless and all appear to be miserable. The guys who left the band came back, and are stuck with people they can't stand because they have no other options. Hayley is now pushing 40, and appears to be very miserable and without any real sense of direction or purpose. And that's what you get (ha!) when you never had any real depth to begin with, and had no problem playing along with the "not like the other girls" persona.

The band (Hayley) turns everything into political BS. Basically, now Paramore is something that most people over 25 who wised up, pretty much only like in passing and don't go to see, and don't really follow because the magic was never really there. It was all fake, but the old good songs, are still old good songs. Teens/young adults who aren't familiar enough, who can still be brainwashed can go and remain blissfully ignorant to the fact that Hayley seems like bitch, and that all of this political shit shouldn't be front and center at a place like a concert where you're just supposed to be there to have fun. And I'm sure it makes the band, who are all pushing 40 feel like shit. They probably wonder why most of the audience now are people young enough to be their kids, and why they no longer appear to people close to their own fucking age.
