Nobody knows that I am a very good artist. I have not painted in a while, but I have won many prizes in art competitions. I cannot wait to be done with my exam and pass my exam. I want to spend some time doing what I like: Painting and Reading. I already bought 4 books from Indigo/Chapters. I will paint using watercolors and oil pastels:
1. People gathered under the banyan tree, reading newspaper and drinking chai from the vendor.
2. Elephants in Madhubani folk art style.
3. Painting of Lord Ganesh surrounded by banana trees and laddoos.
4. Painting of South Indian temple by the sea.
My booklist is varied and I do not wish to share it unless I feel comfortable with someone.
I am going to be 40 soon. Half my life is over and I have spent most my life studying, working, caring for family and chores.
I need to spend at least 2 hours per week doing what I like.

I'm that way with photography. Always good at it, indoor and outdoor. Had camera class in college, and the prof pulled me aside in the hallway after an assignment where I used my hot older sister as my model, and told me "You belong in something more advanced than what we're doing", and that my work was better than pros he'd seen. I told him it comes natural to me, just have an eye for it. He asked who the model was, and I told him, and after he went on about how did you get such a gorgeous woman to do this, he actually said "Nothing I'm teaching in there is helpful to you. Some people are just good at this", and if I wanted, I could do all the assignments in a blitz and give them all to him, not going to class at all. He'd go over them on a weekend, grade them, and I'd be done. Which I was. anonymous 3 hours ago
