Honestly, I would not worry about it, because, the world is filled with assholes who never take any responsibility for their own thoughts, feelings, words or actions and will always look to blame someone or something else, never for a moment considering the very real possibility that it may in fact be themselves that is the problem, never questioning their own position or their decisions, never contemplating their own shortcomings.

People love to pretend they would be different in various situations, but the fact is, most folks have their own lives, their own issues and their own battles, and whilst it is true, you will find time for things you deem important enough, at the same time, judging folks for things you deem important, that they do not, is a shortcoming of yourself, not them.

The fact you are trying to be introspective about this, goes at least some way to showing you are actually not quite as bad as they think or that you may think, because a modern asshole, would have just said, ok fuck you and instead you have tried to consider that maybe you bear some responsibility for how this person feels, however, do not be emotionally blackmailed into feeling what they beleive you should be feeling.

...that's a reality check, thank you. It's.. difficult to change personality traits and I feel the resistance. But that's not an option. And now that I thought more of this situation, she did not respect me either. I leaned a lot about myself from this situation, and "everybody likes you for how you treat them" (or similar) really makes sense. Thank you for the comment :)
